Like most of the villages of Jhabua, Khedha was also facing a water crisis. In its process of Social Capital Generation, Shivganga has created  ‘Gram Engineers’ in several villages. The Gram Engineers of Khedha analysed the ground situation and marked an area for pond construction.
The Forest Department intervened in the pond construction and work halted for 8 days. After settling the issue with higher authority in the department, work resumed and the pond was completed in 35 days.
